Meray Maddah

Meray Maddah is a double-major graduate who holds a B.A. in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the American University of Science and Technology (AUST) and a B.A in English Literature from Université libanaise and M.A graduate from Università degli Studi di Siena.

Maddah’s professional experience has varied between completion of different projects, academic courses, and scholarship-based exchanges in the following places : in Albania, Czech Republic, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, Russian Federation, Southern Caucasus, Austria, Turkey, Hungary, and South Korea (including the demilitarised zone between South and North Korea), Belgium, Portugal, etc. Primarily, she is the awarded winner on the Middle East and North African (MENA) region for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization’s 50th Anniversary Research Paper Competition for her researched piece titled « Welcoming the 4th Revolution : A Cyber-Physical Reality by 2030 ». Also, she is the notable winner for the « Dokdo Islands’ Sovereignty » research competition launched by the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL), the military Korean battalion (Rokbatt/레바논 유엔 평화유지단 동명부대 페이지 입니다), and the Korean Embassy in Lebanon.

Currently, she is a Blue Book trainee at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) focusing on the European Neighborhood policies and external relations.
